Biography

Dr. Matthew Zhang was born and raised in Beijing, China. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington in Neurobiology and Biochemistry. He completed his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his residency at the Vanderbilt Eye Institute and ASOPRS fellowship in oculofacial plastic and orbital surgery at the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital and Lankenau Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Zhang is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Washington. He is a oculoplastic surgeon who also specializes in eyelid surgery, eye socket surgery, thyroid orbital disease, botox injections, skin care. He sees patients who needs care in these areas. Dr. Zhang currently lives in Seattle. In his free time, he enjoys wildlife photography, birding, nature.
