Dr. Arthika Chandramohan was raised in Southern California and graduated cum laude from the Johns Hopkins University with a major in Cell and Molecular Biology. She pursued a Master's Degree in Public Health at Boston University and thereafter obtained her medical degree at Duke University. She discovered a passion for combining clinical practice with service-driven innovation in healthcare delivery as an Albert Schweitzer Fellow and as President of the University chapter of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. She returned to the west coast for residency training in Ophthalmology at Stanford University where she discovered a passion for addressing the eye care needs and disparities of children. She is excited to join Seattle Children's Hospital at the University of Washington for her fellowship training and looks forward to learning more about how high-value ophthalmologic care is delivered across the WWAMI pediatric population. Outside of work, Dr. Chandramohan enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling with her fiancé to new dive spots, reading, letter-writing, crafting, and exploring the Pacific Northwest and all that it has to offer the pescatarian palate.
