Laura Selby, MD

Dr. Selby was born and raised in Medford, Oregon. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Human Physiology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Oregon in 2014. She then attended Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine and became involved with the Casey Eye Institute Community Outreach Program which provides free eye exams to underserved Oregonians. This rewarding experience allowed her to witness the life-changing effects that vision screenings can have and solidified her love of ophthalmology. During medical school, Dr. Selby pursued research in the field of neuro-ophthalmology and presented her findings at several national conferences. Dr. Selby is excited to remain in the Pacific Northwest for ophthalmology training and looks forward to having many outdoor adventures in the upcoming years.
