Sara Hojjatie, MD

Dr. Hojjatie was born and raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. She completed her undergraduate degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she studied Biochemistry and the Sociology of Medicine. Afterwards, she attended medical school at Emory University School of Medicine, where she discovered her interest in the evolving field of ophthalmology. After graduation, she left Atlanta for the first time to move across the country and completed her internship year at the University of Washington Internal Medicine program. She is thrilled to continue her specialty training in ophthalmology at the University of Washington. In her free time, Sara enjoys baking, reading, finding new house plants to adopt, and hiking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest
