Dr. Li was born in Northampton, MA, before moving to Taipei, Taiwan, where she lived for six years. She moved back to the US and grew up as a Bills fan in a suburb of Buffalo, NY. She is a graduate of the eight-year combined baccalaureate-MD Program in Liberal Medical Education of Brown University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology magna cum laude and medical degree with a scholarly concentration in medical education. She went on to complete a transitional year at Brockton Hospital in Boston, followed by ophthalmology residency at Yale University in New Haven, CT. Dr. Li has interest in curriculum development and a wide range of research topics within oculoplastics. In her spare time, she enjoys fooding and staying active and is considering whether to run a fourth marathon. She is excited to be completing an oculoplastic surgery fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle where she plans to continue her academic productivity and contribute to medical education.
