Due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, and on the recommendation of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, we are rescheduling all non-urgent/emergent clinic visits that are currently scheduled to be seen at all UW Medicine ophthalmology and optometry clinics through April 30, 2020. Please bear with us during this unprecedented time.

If you are feeling ill with fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, please contact your primary care provider. Please do not try to keep your appointment with UW Medicine Ophthalmology or Optometry providers at any of our locations. Please do not go to the emergency room. Emergency rooms need to be able to serve those with the most critical needs. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911.

If you are an existing patient of our practice and are having an urgent or emergency problem with your eyes, please call us at 206 744 2020.  We are still able to see urgent patient visits at our Eye Institute location.

For more information on COVID-19, visit Public Health – Seattle & King County and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

If you are an older adult or an individual with serious chronic medical conditions, you may have a higher risk of getting very sick from COVID-19, and should consider taking additional precautions set out by the CDC.

Thank you for your attention.
