Biography
Dr. Elfwwal, born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, is a dedicated clinician, surgeon, educator, and researcher passionate about pediatric ophthalmology, adult strabismus, and neuro-ophthalmology. She obtained her medical degree from Cairo University and completed her residency at Kasr Alainy Hospital in the Ophthalmology Department at Cairo University. In May 2020, she earned a master’s degree in Ophthalmology and completed short-term training programs at both the University of Missouri and Indiana University.
She serves as a lecturer and educator at Cairo University, where she imparts knowledge and skills to the next generation of eye care professionals. In her clinical practice, she specializes in treating children with a spectrum of ocular disorders, providing compassionate care and surgical interventions when necessary.
Dr. Elfwwal's multifaceted approach to ophthalmology, coupled with her dedication to patient care, education, and research, embodies her commitment to positively impacting the field and improving the lives of those she serves.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Elfwwal enjoys spending time with her family in the scenic parks of Seattle. She is also an avid enthusiast of the arts and enjoys swimming.
