Retina FellowBiography
Dr. Agarwal-Sinha was born and raised in Jaipur, India. She obtained her MD degree from the University of Rajasthan in Jaipur and completed her ophthalmology residency. She then completed a clinical retina fellowship at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, India, and practiced as a retina consultant.
After moving to the United States, Dr. Agarwal-Sinha completed a retina research fellowship at the University of Florida, a clinical fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and an internship in general surgery at Robert Pack Hospital in Pennsylvania. Dr. Agarwal-Sinha practiced pediatric ophthalmology for 15 years.
While working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Seattle Children’s, she decided to pursue her passion for vitreoretinal surgeries and retinal diseases. Her clinical and research interests focus on retinopathy of prematurity, anti-VEGF treatment, pediatric retinal imaging, and retinal diseases.
Dr. Agarwal-Sinha lives in Seattle, Washington, with her dog. Her husband is a Professor at Virginia Tech in the Department of Civil Engineering. Her pastimes include traveling and spending time with her husband, cooking, biking, and hiking with her dog.
