Nayoon Gim, BS

Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Nayoon moved to Seattle in 2021 for medical scientist training after spending six years in Boston. Prior to medical school, she spent two years as a research assistant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and MIT, studying improved methods for delivering therapeutics in the human body. Nayoon completed two years of medical training and is currently a third-year PhD student in Bioengineering with a Data Science track. Her doctoral training focuses on developing and applying computational methods to large-scale multimodal biomedical data to solve challenges in clinical research. Nayoon joined Computational Ophthalmology in 2022.
