Biography
Dr. Lam earned both her bachelor’s degree and medical degree from Northwestern University in Illinois. She then moved to Seattle to complete her internship and residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
Dr. Lam earned both her bachelor’s degree and medical degree from Northwestern University in Illinois. She then moved to Seattle to complete her internship and residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Lam joined the faculty at UW Medicine’s Department of Ophthalmology in 2008 as the Director of Consult and Ocular Trauma Services at Harborview Medical Center. She is currently the Chief of Eye Care Services at VA Puget Sound Health Care System where she practices full time.Dr. Lam lives in Seattle, Washington, with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending her free time with her family.

Clinical interests
Dr. Lam’s clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of a comprehensive range of eye conditions. These include such entities as cataract, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, ocular surface diseases and eye trauma.
Research focus
Dr. Lam’s research focuses on resident education, cataract surgery and uveitis.
