Biography

Dr. Toolan was born in New York City but raised in a suburb of Chicago. He graduated from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor with a B.S. in Biology. He was first exposed to the wonders of ophthalmology as an undergraduate working in a bench research lab at the Kellogg Eye Center, where he completed an honors thesis. He returned to Chicago to attend medical school at Rush Medical College.

Dr. Toolan is the middle child of a family of five. He and his fiancée, Amy, are looking forward to exploring all the beauty that the PNW has to offer.
