Biography

Dr. Turner was born in San Diego, CA, and raised in Rome, Italy, for most of his childhood. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a BS in General Biology and a minor in Health Care-Social Issues. He served as a clinical coordinator for a free clinic in Tijuana, Mexico, and conducted an Honors Thesis in Neuroscience. While attending medical school at the University of California, San Francisco, he discovered his passion for ophthalmology and continued his involvement with community service, global health, and research. Dr. Turner is excited to move to Seattle for residency training at the University of Washington. In his free time, Dr. Turner enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends, exploring the wonders of the Pacific Northwest, and making his way through the many Seattle eateries and coffee shops.
