Biography

Born in New York and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel, Dr. Katzburg completed most of her education and training there. Ophthalmology felt right from the moment she observed her first cataract surgery and knew this was the field for her. She describes ophthalmology as beautiful and elegant, a small organ that contains an entire world within it.

She finds helping patients regain vision and daily function to be one of the most fulfilling parts of medicine. Combining advanced imaging, challenging diagnoses, elegant procedures, and patient care is what she enjoys most about the field.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, traveling, nature, food, and exploring new cities.
