Biography

Dr. Sorenson was raised in the Bay Area of California. He earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed his ophthalmology residency at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. He pursued fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology at the University of Washington because of the field’s unique combination of fascinating diagnostic challenges and the opportunity to care for patients with complex, often life-altering visual and neurologic conditions.
