Biography

Dr. Forbes is a Washington native who grew up in Maple Valley, just southeast of Seattle. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington Bothell before completing his Doctor of Optometry at the Arizona College of Optometry.

He is excited to return to the University of Washington as a provider! Prior to joining the UW Ophthalmology team, he worked as a private-practice optometrist in Mill Creek, WA, providing comprehensive eye examinations and specialty contact lens services.

Outside of clinic, Dr. Forbes enjoys skiing, walking his dog, and enjoying the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest with his partner.
