Glaucoma

What is glaucoma?

Glaucoma is an eye condition where the fluid inside the eye slowly builds up pressure in the eye. This causes an increase in eye pressure that can ultimately damage the optic nerve. Some forms of glaucoma can also have normal pressure. The optic nerve is a bundle of nerve fibers that connects the retina with the brain. This damage leads to loss of eyesight.
