Biography

Dr. Chang received her Medical Degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2004 and completed residency training at Washington University in St. Louis. Following residency, Dr. Chang obtained advanced fellowship training in two ophthalmology subspecialties: ophthalmic pathology at Washington University in St. Louis and orbital and oculofacial plastic surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute/UCLA in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, California.

Dr. Chang cares for patients with plastic surgery disorders affecting the eyelids, nasolacrimal system, orbit, face, and neck. As an ophthalmic pathologist as well as an orbital and oculofacial plastic surgeon, she understands the microscopic basis of diseases but approaches each patient as an individual with unique reconstructive and aesthetic goals. Cosmetic procedures include botulinum toxin injections, periocular and facial synthetic, and fat fillers, chemical and laser skin resurfacing, eyebrow and eyelid lifts, and face/neck rejuvenation.

Dr. Chang has lectured nationally and internationally on various topics within her specialty.  She is active in resident teaching and is a preceptor in the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery fellowship training program at UW. Dr. Chang lives in Bellevue, Washington, where she also has a private practice.  She and her husband, William enjoy cooking and hosting friends and family in their home.
